Robera Seyo-Nolle Farm

Robera Coffee Estate Seyo-Nolle, located in the Gallan Gutte district of Gimbi Wollega in Western Ethiopia, produces Speciality Lekempti Coffee. Our client-focused organization produces specialty coffee in its entirety. PROCESSING TYPE

We mainly use two processing methods at Robea Seyo-Nolle Coffee Estate to bring the optimal level of flavor from each bean of coffee.

This process uses a mechanical technique to wash away the mucilage from the coffee cherries. The coffee then undergoes full wet fermentation. The coffee then undergoes 12 to 19 total drying days during this process.

In this process, the coffee is sun-dried with the entire coffee cherry intact in thin layers on raised dry beds. In the evenings to increase air-flow to the coffee, we use plastic covers. The coffee undergoes 18 to 30 total drying days within the activity.

Our goal is to continue supporting surrounding farmers’ access to diversified resources to increase their profitability and impact in the industry. Furthermore, we assist them in employing improved farming practices by giving them access to various agricultural resources including giving them seedling and access to our agronomist.

Through our cooperate social responsibility initiative, we support the local community in a variety of ways. In collaboration with the local government, Robera has built an access road on the coffee farm which also serves the nearby community. We also support the local schools by supplying school furniture and other materials necessary for the aid of local institutions.
